"If I had been given this book as a child, I would have both enjoyed the story and come away with some knowledge of basic physics on a level that children can understand. The book is a far cry from the obviously instructional science books I was given as a child. The first person narrator who tells the story speaks the way children really do speak to each other when they're waiting for the school bus or hanging around the playground. Children will recognize themselves in the classroom situations and hear themselves in the lively dialogue. When this book is published, I predict that it will find its way into a great many classrooms and that children will love the book for its characters and story."
